CLIENT PROFILE
A couple in need of private bathing space away from busy family life.
CLIENT BRIEF
- Strip out all the fixtures/tiles plus all the existing plumbing that had been DIY’d by a previous owner.
- Include a bath and separate shower in the compact space.
- Replace the water tanks and improve water pressure and drainage throughout the whole house.
- Create a stunning ensuite sanctuary for this busy couple, a place to relax and unwind.
- Include a bath and shower with luxury fixtures and fittings.
DESIGN PROCESS
The previous bathroom while fit for purpose did not suit the space in terms of grandeur and was concealing some very dodgy DIY plumbing that has been completed by a previous owner. This plumbing had started to cause some issues so we needed to strip everything back and start again.
We knocked out all the internal walls and reconfigured the entire space and plumbing to include a separate bath and shower cubicle. With the complete plumbing overhaul we had the freedom to redesign the layout.
We created a feature wall with contrasting tiles and smart lighting – the elegant arch also provided the perfect shelf for bath products, candles or a glass of wine. We incorporated clever niche’s around the space to provide storage and interest, framing them with gold trim for a touch of luxury.
We created an relaxing design with a peaceful green and neutral palette to suit a heritage space. We took careful consideration to ensure the Interior Design showcased the space in the finest way. We used different tiles to create interest, adding metal accents to elevate the opulence.
