CLIENT PROFILE
A family wanting a stylish overhaul for their cloakroom WC
CLIENT BRIEF
- Strip out all the fixtures/tiles plus all the existing plumbing that had been DIY’d by a previous owner.
- Design a glamorous space to wow the client and their visitors.
- Replace all fixtures, fittings and tiles and complete redecoration.
- Create a modern lighting scheme and integrate smart technology.
DESIGN PROCESS
The previous cloakroom while fit for purpose did not suit the space in terms of grandeur and was concealing some very dodgy DIY plumbing that has been completed by a previous owner. This plumbing had started to cause some issues so we needed to strip everything back and start again.
We removed all the existing fixtures and redesigned the entire space. We used traditional fittings to reflect the heritage of the space and modern design to marry the past and the future.
We created interest with contrasting tiles and wallpaper. The glamorous textured wallpaper and deep green tile creates a luxury look.
We added smart mirror and picture light on a sensor to create interesting ambient light that will switch on and off automatically.
The results are luxurious and glamorous, taking time to consider the impact of wonderful design in even the smallest of spaces.
