DESIGN PROCESS
The configuration of the room was completely stripped out and rebuilt to accommodate the new kitchen, lighting, plumbing and furniture layout.
The family needed a versatile space that could be cleared for parties and family gatherings so adaptations were included so that the dining area could be moved out of the way to create a large open space.
We created a feature kitchen island area with lighting and a beautiful mother of pearl tile – the effect is like a commercial bar area when the dining table is removed, the perfect space for entertaining.
The palette of feminine pinks were balanced and framed by black architectural lines in the tiles, cabinets, trims and window pelmet. The walls stayed in a white neutral to allow the colours of the kitchen and tiles to shine.
We designed a lighting. square to zone the kitchen space and dropped in feature lampshades to zone the dining space. Adding led strips to the bird cage cabinet of coloured glass elevated an already stunning feature.
incredibly professional
“We worked with Emma & Victoria on a recently completed stunning “Pretty in pink” project. Working with them was an absolute pleasure and they were incredibly professional with their design ideas and how they wanted the final scheme to look. We hope to work with them again in the near future.”
